Bake a Cake for Your Mom to Make Her Feel Special on This Mother’s Day

When the mother is around, we needn’t speak out any other word apart her name, and all our errands are magically accomplished. All the problems instantly solved, all the burdens instantly taken off. Surely she’s a magical being!

 

But this phenomenal supermom also needs some bouts of fun and affection amazingly displayed as a tribute to all that she has been to us.

 

While we are not as accomplished as she is at making things go special, but a home- made cake would be a great token of love you owe to her. Because she knows what cooking means, she will surely appreciate a cake made by your own hands rather than the ones you would buy from the best of the bakeries.

 

Here is a quick and easy recipe to make cake at home in just 30 minutes ( 6-7 minutes preparation time and 20-25 minutes cooking time).

 

Just follow these simple and hastle-free steps to make a perfect cake at home:

 

Ingredients :
2 packet Glucose biscuits ( around 25 biscuits)
1 packet chochochip biscuits (around 25 biscuits)
4 tbsn powdered sugar
1 tsp baking soda or eno
1 cup milk
1 tsp oil

 

Method:
1. Churn all the biscuits in a mixer grinder to get a powdered mix.
2. Add sugar and baking soda to it.
3. Add milk according to the need, to get a smooth textured cake mix.
4. Grease an Aluminium container (if steaming) or a Glass container(if baking) with oil.
5. Either steam the batter in a vessel or microwave it for 20 minutes.

 

Pro-Tip : Take a toothpick test to check if the cake has baked properly. Insert the toothpick in the middle of the cake. The cake is ready if the toothpick comes out clean.

 

You can also decorate the cake with melted chocolate, chocolate syrup, almonds or choco-chips.

 

The cake is ready to serve and you are hence, ready to show-off some culinary skills to your family and friends.
